How to tell if your new shoes are a good fit
Your lovely new pair of shoes has arrived and you’re now going to try them on for the first time.
👍Tip 1 Put them on with what you will be wearing them with.
👍Tip 2 Try both shoes on and do them up fully
(This will get your foot into the right position in the shoe.)
👍Tip 3 Stand up and look at them in the mirror.
Shoes always look very long when you look down on them
⭐️They should feel comfortable but firm.
⭐️They should not be actually pinching you anywhere.
⭐️Your big toe should not be touching the top end of the shoe.
⭐️Your toes should not be pushing out the sides of the shoes
(It’s okay if they are touching.)
⭐️When you walk in them your heels shouldn’t move up and down noticeably ( they’ll move a bit) They shouldn’t actually drop off with every step.
⭐️Then Keep them on ( on a carpet) for about 10 mins this will warm them up so when you walk in them they should feel softer and more pliable.
Improving the fit
👍If you have lace-ups, you can adjust the lacing at the widest part of your foot to give you the extra width you need.
Try doing them up with your heel on the floor and your toes lifted up. This will get your foot into the right position in the shoe.
👍 If you’ve bought Court shoes they need to fit tightly or they will fall off so pad them out with a half insole
I hope this helps you feel more confident about your Purchase.
